The architectural lighting design of the Àgora del Diseño València by architect Miguel Arraiz, within the framework of the World Design Capital 2022, conceived for this internationally significant event, stands as an avant-garde artistic and technical manifestation. This lighting design is characterized by its ability to generate a meticulous interplay of light and shadow, whose rhythm is intrinsically linked to the precise arrangement of ceramic pieces and strategically placed luminaires within the structure.

As the night progresses and darkness envelops the surroundings, the color temperature of the light gradually transforms, transitioning from the initial 4000ºK to 2700ºK. This process bestows a distinctive dynamism upon the building's appearance, harmoniously adapting to the changing lighting conditions.

In this luminous setting, three Light Art installations enrich the visual experience of Àgora World Design Capital 2022. "Wave," exhibited from June to September, establishes a captivating dialogue between light and graphic and editorial design, transporting spectators to a world of visual creativity.

On the other hand, "Trigger," taking its place in October and November, delves deep into the realm of architecture, using light as a means to highlight specific architectural aspects of València. Finally, "Instant," the artwork that concludes the cycle in December, pays homage to the very lighting design of Àgora. Through the use of lasers and suspended particles, this installation breathes life into ephemeral light structures that draw and transform the pavement, creating an effervescent and transient effect that underscores the importance of lighting design in this context.

Despite their different perspectives, all three artworks share a common denominator: light and design as essential elements that merge art and architecture in an extraordinary manner.
